On April 11, I will be hosting a small workshop focused on how horses communicate and how subtle signals can dramatically change the way we work with them.
Many horses show early signs of tension or discomfort that are often misunderstood or overlooked. Learning to recognize these signals allows riders and handlers to respond earlier and more clearly, creating relaxation, trust, and better performance.
During this workshop I will demonstrate practical techniques using one of my own horses. We will look at small changes in body language, handling, and simple bodywork that can influence the horse’s nervous system and help horses relax within minutes, without lunging or exhausting them through physical work.
This workshop is suitable for riders, horse owners, and anyone interested in understanding horses more deeply. No riding will take place.
Date: April 11
Time: 12:30–2:00 PM
Location: Black Rushin’ Farm, Medfield, Massachusetts

I will be hosting a complimentary in-hand work demonstration this Wednesday at 1:00 PM at my farm in Medfield, Massachusetts.
During this session, I will be working with one of my own horses to demonstrate how in-hand work can be used as a form of physical therapy to support the horse’s development. When applied correctly, in-hand work allows us to influence coordination, strength, and overall comfort in a very direct and effective way, with clear translation into the ridden work.
If you would like to attend, please send me a message or text to let me know.
