Dilara, originally from Luebeck, Germany, began her equestrian journey at the age of four. Her competitive career spans several years in jumping and equitation, complemented by dedicated dressage training. She had the privilege of training extensively under Olympic medalist Karl Schulz, gaining invaluable expertise backing and training young horses.
After relocating to the United States, Dilara pursued a university degree in Equine Business Management with a specialization in International Business, followed by a Master’s in Business Administration.

As Dilara began to train with several globally renowned trainers including Arthur Kottas-Heldenberg, Christoph Hess, and Michael Poulin her passion for dressage deepened.
Dilara was gifted three challenging horses, each known for their unique difficulties. Through dedication and skill she successfully developed them up the levels. The image to the right features her gelding Dutch. They had their debut season at Intermediate A, a test that includes all the components of the Grand Prix, last season.
Originally imported and competed as a jumper, Dutch faced significant rearing and contact issues, which Dilara addressed to transform him into a competitive FEI dressage horse. She only needs two scores at Grand Prix to complete her USDF gold medal.
